Following on from the dried flowers trend, pressed flowers now seem to be having their own revival. They are popping up everywhere in all kinds of shape and I'm loving it all!
Here are my TOP PICKS of the best
UK handmade pressed flowers homeware items
I have spotted trending on socials!
1. CANDLES
Alice at Originals Studio creates magic with all-things pastels and her hand-poured candles are "oh so pretty"!. She creates unusual items like her pretty melts in up-cycled vintage trinkets, but the stand-outs are her pillar candles with pressed flowers carefully embedded in the outer layer, tricky process I'm told, but it clearly pays off!

you won't want to burnt them!
"I am inspired by vintage prints and create homeware which I love to style combined with minimal lines and tones for a fresh modern look." Alice, founder

2 . WALL ART
Manon Le Fer aka Maddy's Workshop goes the extra mile by pressing the flowers herself! A wide variety of garden and wild flowers are grown by her family in Brittany, France.
With each season she carefully covers the harvested goods with a sheet of parchment paper on each side and squeezes them between the pages of large books. She adds extra weight on top and leaves them to dry from two to eight weeks (depending on the varieties).
Once the flowers are ready, Maddy lets her creativity bloom! From simple wreath shapes to abstract designs and all the fun in between! See here this stunning frame she created with my initial, my own choice of background colour (purple of course!) and frame colour too! The result is so impressive, look at the level of detail! I love it!
"Just like humans, every flower is unique"

Ending this post with the wise words of one of the masters of painting flowers Claude Monet:
"I must have flowers, always and always"
There you go everyone, thanks to all of these gifted makers you can now have flowers for always and always. I don't know about you but I'm even tempted to have a go at some of these techniques myself!
